    Removing Shellack

I made a table top with Mahogany veneer & an inlay of Maple. I sprayed it with a few coats of shellack. After doing so I really don't like the way the Maple veneer turned out. Being inflected with the perfection disease I'm thinking of doing it over. I used Better Bond Veneer glue when I did it so I imagine I'll have to remove the shellack to get the other veneer to stick. What would be the way to remove the shellack ?

If the veneer glue will not bond to shellac (I am not sure if it does or does not), then:

I'd do a light sanding with 400 or 600 and sweep, wipe that off dry.
Then use ethanol (DNA) to wipe off the rest. Switch to clean rags often.

Yeah, DNA takes of shellac pretty nicely.
you can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.
