General Tools 856 - Face Frame System Jig

Hi, I wanted to see if anyone has used the 856 - Face Frame System Jig (pocket hole)? If so, can you please share your set up and experience. Also, for anyone interested, the jig itself is only 22.99 at General tools. It is 119 to 129 at home depot and woodcraft supply - respectively. I ordered 3 to build a face frame table and they just shipped. The track is a better deal at HD.

    Thanks,

    Harish

I'm certain that that one will work but it looks to me like it's gonna take a lot of extra fiddlin around. I build faceframes weekly and use a kreg forman to do mine but I still have my old kreg jig for pocket holes that I sometimes take out on the road with me when we are doing site work. Faceframes made with pocket holes are the ticket to a quality frame but this jig doesn't look like it will work with my method of operation. I know kreg stuff is much more expensive but you should give it a look, it's a lot more handy in it manner of operation in my opinion.
Just keep working on it. It'll give up and do right after a while.
