How many of you remember the character "Charlie Farqharson" from "Hee Haw"?
Charlie Farqharson died today at age 90.
His real name was Don Harron he and was born and raised in Ontario Canada.
He died at home after refusing treatment for cancer.
There is an interesting write up about him in several Canadian newspapers including the Toronto Sun, Toronto Star and Huffington Post Canada.
As my grandfather once told me, "Think, and I am sure you will find a harder way to do it!"

It was sad news, Don Harron had a formidable wit and intellect, his monologues were incredible.
