    Cherry Burl Natural Edge

About 12" in diameter and 1/4" thick. Finish is walnut oil and then buffed out with tripoli and white diamond only.

    Nice Tony,
Glad to see you posting again. I'll bet keeping the bark intact was not easy on this bowl. Very sweet.

  3. Now that will get your juices flowing! Impressive, Tony! Keeping the bark on that shows great tool control. I hope my next go at one of those burls turn out a nice as this one did! Good to see you post here!

May have been a while between posts, (pot calling kettle black here) but certainly worth the wait. Very nice, would like to get my hands on a similar cherry burl.

Very impressive keeping that bark intact Tony. Also like your choice of finish with the walnut oil. Sometimes I just leave as is and sometimes I'll buff like you did.
