    I glued little pieces of Basswood in the top of those loops on mine. I always set rip saws first, so the chisel teeth aren't tilted to end up with, but crosscut depends on before or after.

    Thanks Tom and Jim. Your information is helpful. I've been intimidated by the appearance of the sets, but here goes.

    Well,3 hours later it's done. The plunger on one of my 42-w's is now 5/64" thick. That is about the same as the Somox.

    After I drove the roll pin out, it was easy.
