Ace Converter and Autocad, too many steps

Hello, I have foam cutter and Im trying to generate my Gcodes for it but im having trouble keeping the nodes/steps low. I draw the text in Corel Draw, because im not an Acad user. Then export to DXF, open with Acad and save into R12 version that works with Ace converter. But in that process, the nodes in the drawing multipy many times making to many steps.
Also tried with Corel 11´s Dxf but when I convert it in Ace, the path is modified in a weird way, also the position of the object.
I´ve been looking all around for a way to figure this out.
Anybody knows how to make the drawing to keep low number of nodes after opening and saving in Autocad?
Sorry If it sounds a little messy..
    Thanks!

This program works well to reduce nodes.......it works with CorelDraw prior to export...... hope this helps.
