After another good cleaning, it still doesn't suck dust into bag. Any suggestions?

Can you hook up a vacuum and try it that way? I've never been impressed with the dust collection of my random orbit sanders but they usually put something in their bag. But the bag isn't a great dust filter and will leak some of what it goes in it back out under the best of circumstances. My shop vacuum has a hepa filter so it is better at keeping the fine dust under control.

If you leave the bag off does it blow dust? If yes, then the bag is plugged up. If no, then the fan or ports in the sander must be completely plugged up or broken.

Bosch sells fittings to connect your sander to your vac. You can order them. Mine connects to a 1 1/4" vac hose. Huge improvement, even when your bag is working.
