    fein turbo hepa filter?

To those familiar with the turbo hepa version, is the canister filter washable and does it need to be used with a bag?

If it is not washable, how often does it need to be replaced?

    Thx

Bag - yes. You can run it without, but you don't hit HEPA levels, so that makes no sense.

    Washable - dunno.
When I started woodworking, I didn't know squat. I have progressed in 30 years - now I do know squat.

I bought a GORE CleanStream filter from Home Depot. It fits older Craftsman vacs, the ones that don't have lock knobs on the end. I believe the Craftsman filters were referred to as 'red stripe'. The slip fit is pretty snug, I haven't had a problem with it slipping down. I think this is the one
