I did it again.

I can't believe I forgot our anniversary again. Today is the 51'st, but I can't claim senior moments because I have forgotten so many others. Just last week I reminded myself it was coming, and today she comes home from work and laid it on me.

It's a little gotcha game we play, you see, she has forgotten almost as many as me. We both wait till the last minute hoping to catch the other in an oops.

So, for penance, I got to take her to Claim Jumper for lunch.....using a gift card from last years anniversary.

I keep all of the important dates in my phone & iPad calendar, they will give me an advance warning.

My wife and I always have trouble remembering whether we were married on August 2nd or 4th and always end up having to go check the marriage certificate. For us the date we first got together (May 20th) is far more important to us. That one we never forget. The marriage anniversary we don't even celebrate but May 20th is an important event to us and we do it up right.
