Fair price for Beisemeyer 8-foot miter saw table?

I'm looking at a 8-foot Beisemeyer miter saw table (78-808) for sale in good condition. The asking price seems very high but I don't think these will ever be available new again, sooo .... $350 worth it? Yep, could build my own but ...

There were clearenced out on amazon for $99. Maker sure you get the end stops you want. Yu need two - one right and one left. After reading issues with rocking and bowing I bought a keg track top and built mine.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.

I've got a set. A 3 footer on the right of my saw and a 6 footer on the left.

My stop actually works on both sides so only 1 stop for me.

I really like the set up.

I'm not sure of the pricing but that sounds high to me.

    I've got one - comparable to Paul's.

Had it for dog-years. Wouldn't be with out it, or equivalent.

Did not know there were issues on build quality Mike - assume that came along in recent years...mine is great. I also had a friend get the Kreg and we installed it. Works good enough, but no where near as robust as the Biese.

EDIT - got off track, forgot the point. The point is this: I think that price is too high. $200 maybe? If I was starting, I would find and get the Biese stop - used somewhere. Then build my own table and fence.

When I started woodworking, I didn't know squat. I have progressed in 30 years - now I do know squat.
