a light subject

Here is a little thing I made in an effort to add more light to the lathe area. It doesn't work too well but it was fun. The bulb is threaded as is the base so when the bottle stopper is put away, it becomes an art object. The casting is plastic beads in Silmar 41 resin.

Awesome idea. I like it lots. Mind if I borrow it? I'm thinking something a little different but very much along those lines. I think we live far enough from each other so as not to be in any kind of competition. Once again, very nice.
