DIY rounding of the corners on anodised aluminium

If the suppliers dont round the corners of anodised aluminium when they cut it to size (I am waiting for a reply to see if they will do it), is there an easy way to do it yourself and still get a uniform and neat shape on all 4 corners?

    Thanks as always,

A local firm with a corner notch-er would be the easiest way Graham.
    You did what !

Don't know if this is available in the UK but it is a popular unit here. I have one with several of the dies.

thanks for the quick replies. One of the guys who did our building work is also a welder so he may know somewhere local that I could try.

    Thanks again

For sure one of the engraving supply houses has a tool to do the job. Here the basic tool costs a little less than $100 and each die about the same.

For thinner materials I use our 'trophy plate' corner rounder, cuts a 3/16" radius round corner easy enough.

Otherwise, I round corners by hand. I use a 1" belt sander, and a 180 paper/scotchbrite flapper wheel to finish up.
It's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Works best with small quantities tho...

You could make a template and use a router with a template bit.
