    Uneven lines with lasercutter

    Hi All

    I have a problem, my lase rcutter has begun to make uneven lines sometimes. it is in all axes (X,Y), I think is may be the guide on the rails that is not thight enough any more, have any of you experienced anything like this?



    The laser is a weiker lc1612 singelhead 100 watt laser.

    I have no experience with your brand of machine but my guesses are: 1. a bearing issue (clean tracks and check for smooth running if not smooth then bearings probably need replacing); 2. check belt adjustment; 3. check that pulleys are tight and clean.

    Can you run some box tests to help isolate it to the X or Y axis?

    Hi guys

    It was the belt adjustment that was the problem, just did some cutting to chest it and it fixed the problem. The belts was adjustet around 0,5 to 1 cm, så there was a bit of slack ind them.
