    Guy takes a Craftsman plane, does something nice with it.

    You may have seen this video, but I just came across it. Nice music, very calm approach, very good camera work and lighting.

    My longest-owned plane is just like the one he tunes up, and I can't say whether I am inspired to try the same on it or not. I know for sure I could not do the new washer thing he does for the adjustable mouth. He has a nice old metalworking lathe, and I don't.

    I really like the look he achieves with the scraper tools. Much better to me than machine-ground surfaces.

    Seen it before.....a BLOCK PLANE???? Why?? It doesn't matter with on of those style of planes if it is machined perfectly flat....They flex enough to cancel out all that work anyway....

    Waste of time....

    Entertaining to watch.....about it.
