    cutting board filling holes

Doing some live edge walnut cutting boards for the first time and have one with a big hole near a knot. Not a completely through home, but more of a big gouge, for lack of better words.

Heard about people using epoxy to fill, then sand down. What kind of epoxy do I use? Found some of the small Gorilla tube for $5. Didn't realize it would be so expensive. Was thinking there would be something different... Can someone point me in the right direction? Would like to find locally, tired of having to special order stuff online. Can't get anything decent local nowadays.
