What is your laser power and what are your water temps. And what is getting too hot. I have had different answers else where.

Redsail x700, 50watt & Shenhui 350, 50 watt
40W water between 15 and 20 C
I try to keep mine right around 65f/18c never let it get over 72f/22c I would think that anything over 75f/23c you would start to loose cutting power.

In the winter I've run as low as 13.5, no problems. This summer my swamp cooler blew it's motor, and for a few days my garage shop was without any AC. I had temps hovering near 30 at times. I won't do cutting when it's that warm, but I'm not afraid to run Rowmark at 14% power for 20 minutes.
My average temp runs 24-25, simply because that's the room temp. I'm sure that's above the limit for many. I don't have a reefer cooler. I haven't done any 'extensive' testing to see if there's any noticeable power differences in temp differences, but in normal use, I haven't had to up my power settings because the water's warm...

I'm the tropics and (for the time being) without air con, so I try to keep mine below 23C (73F). Makes the chiller work a bit.
Longtai 460 with 100 watt EFR, mostly for fun. More power is good!! And a shop with enough wood working tools to make a lot of sawdust. Ex-owner of Shenhui 460-80 and engraving business with 45 watt Epilog Mini18.
Of my watercooled units
180 watt 17-18C
200 watt 17-18c
230 watt 17-18c
air cooled and industrial vary by a bit more depending what power they are running at
You did what !
Must be nice to be able to run it that cold. I'm sitting at 22-24*C. If I go any colder the tube sweats really badly.

Factory temp and humidity is controlled, 22 -24 C all year round so keeping the lower tube temps isn't too hard

I keep mine at 18c. I would keep it colder if not for condensation. I'm using an aquarium chiller and an Igloo 5 gallon drink cooler.

I am also in the tropics and run my 100W on a 5200 chiller that maintains 19-21C. My 60W runs on a 80 liter bucket of ambient temp. water - normally about 24-26C. But I found that in our summer (ambient 30-32C) I would lose considerable power when the cooling water got over about 27-28C. Chucking a few re-freezable chiller blocks in would usually cool it down enough to finish most of my jobs.
Love the new chiller though!

Shenhui G350- 60W; + Hengchunyuan 1300x900 100W EFR , CNC router 40x60, Lightburn fan, RDCam , Coreldraw 12, Photograv 3, Scroll saw, and not enough time to play with all of them!
60W @ 14.9 degrees steady (but my workshop-temperature is only 16-17 degrees average)

I got condensation on my tube all the time because of the ambient temp of around 36 C and like I said my water temperature runs between 15 and 20 C. my cheap tube ( ebay $ 160) last around 1,300 hours.
