    Pecan Pens

    See my previous post about the pecan I obtained from a friend. Here are two pens I turned from it. One for him, one for me.

    Two very pretty pens. The color and grain in the wood are spectacular. You did a very nice job with the finish. Well done!

    Thanks. My friend picked the darker one. I have s few more pieces from that burl, hoping to make an ice cream scoop.
