    Can't donate... [resolved]

Tried last night and today, same result... paying with a credit card... card denied. I called the bank to check and the card is good. Only thing I can see is the name on the card has middle initial but there's no place for that on the form. Any thoughts?

Hate to say it, but if the bank ok'd the card then most likely you are not inputting the card numbers/exp date/CVS code correctly.

Ralph, that would be the most likely problem. I tried yet again, being very careful, even had the GF check everything... still no go. So I called the bank, they looked up the transaction and told me it was being rejected because of an incorrect exp date. The date I'm entering is what's on the card... so I'm baffled.

Moderators, is anyone else having this problem? Is there another way I can donate?

    Gary,

To the best of my knowledge there aren't any other Members having this problem. If you cannot get the problem resolved with your bank you can send a check payable to Northwind Associates to the following address:

OK... problem solved. (I like threads that are resolved)

I'm sure you all have been waiting for the resolution... chuckle

I thought I was paying normally with my credit card since I don't have a PayPal account, but apparently PayPal is still involved. I called them and they told me that I had a guest account with them 10 years ago???... and the CC info was old and conflicting.

So now I have a PayPal account... AND I'm a contributor!!
