I went back to Badger Pond last Friday

I kept up with the posts on the Power Tool Forum Thursday night. On Friday I thought I'd go back for a look at the last posts on the Neanderthal Forum...

It was like going back to my Mom's house after her funeral. All the furniture was still there, the pictures on the walls, clothes in the closet, but nobody lived there any more. And nobody I knew ever would again.

I didn't stay. I logged out of the Pond and deleted my bookmark.

Life goes on, and here I am. Nice to be with friends again.

    Uncle Al

Working all night to keep the lights on in south Florida.

I don't know for sure but I suspect that shahriar hasan is not your real name but it is really Al Crandall. If so yes I haven't forgotten Uncle Al.

Not to be unfriendly but we are just like Badger Pond & operate on a real name basis here too. If this is true I would encourage you to contact the administrators & give them your name & have them change it in your registration & then come in & get wet with the rest of us. Welcome to Sawmill Creek Uncle Al.
I usually find it much easier to be wrong once in while than to try to be perfect.

My web page has a pop up. It is a free site, just close the pop up on the right side of the screen

No matter what your name, welcome.

I was a daily reader of the Pond and went into shock when it closed. I immediately joined this site and have stayed here. Although half of the Pond people went to another site I elected to stay here cuz I like the friendlyness.

    I remember an Uncle Al.
