clock case1.jpgclock I coming along ok. just got a prototype grill (upper right) off the cnc. I need to make some 1/4 in solid cherry for the final ones. got the swan neck molding going for the top. working upside down and backwards on the router table had me doing a little head scratching.
lower columns are 42 in long so I had to modify my 336 in lathe to accommodate that rounding an fluting operation
the wood is cherry. any thoughts out there on finish? i'm leaning toward an oil finish but can't wade through what would be the best approach. fun stuff. Dan
