    Delta Mortising Machine

I have the older model (14-650) Delta Mortiser and I need to get some new bits, especially the 1/2". I cannot find the old bits and the new ones are made for the newer mortiser, 14-651. What I want to know is has anyone used the newer 1/2" bit in the older mortiser? I have tried ereplacements and they do not know, but said I should order one and if it does not fit return it. I would like to not have to return one, so if anyone knows I would appreciate it.
    Thanks
    Don

Thanks for the response. It was not that I could not sharpen them, it was because I did not have any except for the 1/4" size and I was needing larger ones. I ordered a 1/2" from Lee Valley. Thanks for the link.
