Very nice work, love the color of the quarter sawn sycamore. I have never had the opportunity to use sycamore, how is it to work with.

Robert, This was quarter-sawn sycamore and burl sycamore veneer. I have many times used sycamore in chests and tables in the "solid. It is a little stringy, softer than maple. the "flecks" or grain in the quarter-sawn is harder than the "white" wood. but sand, scrapes well and finished like soft maple.
Again, everyone, thanks for the positive comments.
