Salt and pepper shakers ?

Curious to know if the insides would need to be sealed of if leaving wood bare is ok?

Unless there is an issue with the wood, bare wood works fine. Others may disagree.

George, for all it would take to do so, I'd seal the inside of the shakers. I would seal the insides for humidity reasons, if nothing else.

I like the ease of the inserts from craft supplies. And the salt and pepper are in plastic rather than wood.
