    LV/Veritas handles and totes

    Did LV/Veritas change their standard (not custom plane) handle and tote material from Bubinga?

    Not that I am aware, but that middle dovetail saw looks like something different. Nice pile of tools.

    Malcom, The darker gripped saw is the little cross-cut. I only unwrapped it an hour ago, but I did make a few test cuts with it and I think it's going to be great.

    That 16 tpi crosscut dovetail is a nice little saw. Not as fast as the rip (esp not after I refiled the rip DT with more aggressive rake), but leaves a nice finish.

    I certainly love mine. It works very well for cross cutting tennons.
