    Lid Hinge Installation

    After the hinge recesses are done, installing a deck lid like this is a pain.

    You could lay the bottom down on its back, but then the hinge is flexed and you can't see the gap for evenness.

    I'm sure someone else has already figured this out, but thought I would post it anyway.

    I clamped a square block of wood (not shown) to assure lid was vertical when installing stays.
