Glad to hear that y'all swam out ok. My vacation trip to Texas was pretty much turned upside down because of Rita...but only in terms of schedules. We were smart to put away the chairs though....otherwise, we would have suffered like Todd!
Talked to my Dad yesterday and they took no damage. The water rose 4 feet but never made it to the porch.

Between insurance, FEMA, The Red Cross, Sal. Army, and "Faith Based Charities" reimbursed by the government that chair should be worth $200,000. After all, if N.O. and the Gulf Coast of Miss. is going to cost $200B and 1,000,000 are affected that is $200,000 each. Go for it.
