    some new things

It has been quite awhile since I have posted anything. I am in the process of making new furniture and decorative items for my home. The floating top hall table I made about a year ago, and it is walnut. The top holds my turnings and a couple of shaker oval boxes I made a few years ago. The newest items I am working on are copper art pieces . It has been a real treat to work with copper sheets and patinas to make the designs and colors I want to spice up my walls. The copperwork is in a frame, but I wanted a clean front, so the frame is hidden behind the piece. I want to expand the copper art, and I think I will incorporate it as inlays in items, and maybe even turnings. I am really really having fun!!!!

Really nice Michelle! Love to see creativity in multi-media. If you get a chance, would sure enjoy seeing pictures of the copper work in progress. Thanks for sharing.
