G-10 Fiberboard

Has anyone done any work with G-10 fiberboard. I have a client that wants me to do some cut-outs for him. I have a feeling that it is just fiberglass and my little 30 watt lase will bot be able to touch it.

I deep-engraved a lot of G10 (basically a variant of epoxy composite) knife handles with my old 35W Epilog, worked fine. Never tried cutting anything out of it, but should be "possible" given that it engraved decently, depending of course on how thick it is.

I've cut G10 with my 30 watt and it wasn't pretty. Expect lots of smoke and black, gnarly edges. Mask first.

Thank you for the info. Ill pass it on to my client and tell him if he wants to give it a try we can but not to get his hopes to hi. The work he has me do is extreme hi tolerance and this may have trouble meeting his expectations.
