    10 Years!

10 years ago today Laser Image came into existence. My first laser arrived 10 years and two weeks ago and today was the day I left the financial services industry to start this business.
I can hardly believe it's been 10 years!
That first laser served me well and was replaced by my Trotec and supplemented by two 30 watt galvo fiber machines. Add in my DCS UV printer and a diesel compressor for sandcarving and I have put myself in a position to mark almost anything, anywhere!
What amazed me most in the beginning was the support from everyone at EE and SMC, without both forums (along with the dye sub and sandcarving forums) I would have struggled even more than I did and some of the jobs I was able to tackle would not have happened. I can honestly say that the help I have received took years off the learning curve and gave me the confidence to take in the jobs nobody else would (or could) take on.
It's been a great ride so far and I look forward to seeing what the future will bring.

Congratulations on ten years. Judging from your ever growing equipment inventory the business has thrived and would give all appearances of continuing growth.

Thanks for all you contribute to SMC.

    10 years, is that all?

Just kidding of course, congratulations! Now for the fair warning... The next 10 years only takes 4 years...

--at least it sure seems that way. Can't believe how fast the time passes.

Sure wish you were closer so I could talk you into borrowing your beast- I have 800 sq feet of steel houseboat hull to repair and refinish and it has to be sandblasted TWICE!

Likewise, kudo's to SMC-- without you guys I'd probably bought that FS laser...

For as much as they cost to rent, I might seem closer than you think... and I guarantee my rental rate would be much less than you could find elsewhere!

Congratulations Gary, success is the result of hard work, dedication and the courage to take some risks.
I expect your next ten years will be twice as good.
