    Walnut Night Stand, a PIP

    Or two? Second coat is about dry.

    Little bit of sap wood in the top

    Little bit of Cherry on the post.
    Will get a rubbing out tomorrow, then the third coat. Semi-gloss varnish. 1st coat was a 70/30 blend of BLO and varnish. 2nd and 3rd will be just the varnish. Top is 18" in diameter.

    Very nice. More and more I am liking the use of sap wood in projects.
