TIPS & TRICKS : evenly space two groups of wording on a paper cylinder, in Corel X5

The large black rectangle will be a paper cylinder with wording cut out in a stencil cut fashion.
The short sides of the cylinder get glued or taped together.

The problem: How to determine uniform spacing so that the wording is displayed
with equal space before it and after it when the tube is formed. I don't want to measure and divide using rulers.

One solution is to use the table tool to divide the space, then move the wording.
Without using a ruler we can divide the space equally with the table tool.

There are two even spaces when the cylinder is formed but while it’s not formed, there is one space in the middle and one space at each side - and these side spaces are half of the middle space.

Follow the steps and you’ll determine the spacing without using a ruler or having to do any mental math!

If you have an easier/faster way I'd like to know it!

You can also draw six vertical lines, one aligned with the left edge, one aligned with the right edge and then use the distribute tool to distribute them evenly. Align your text, graphics, etc., to the 2nd and 5th lines and you have the same result.
Like most things Corel, there are many different ways to accomplish any task.
