    Making a Handle in Goumi for Japanese Chisels

    A local woodworker, John Aniano was kind enough to give me a split of Goumi, and so I've detailed the process of replacing my rosewood chisel handles with more appropriate goumi handles;

    Nice doc of the handle build (as with everything you post). I had wondered how your Rosewood and IIRC Ebony handles were holding up.
