    Epilog 45TT air assist removal

    Hi All,

I have to engrave a bunch of wooden dishes that have about a 1 inch lip on them. The metal curved nozzle on the air assist will hit the edge when I focus down to the proper height. Can this nozzle be removed easily? It swivels back and forth but I don't want to force and break it.

    Thanks,
    Tony

Yep, there's a set screw in back where the tube enters the back side of the mirror/lens assembly. Push the head from home position over to the right so you can see back there and use a small flashlight to illuminate the area. IIRC, it needs a 3/32" allen wrench. Careful not to lose the screw!
