Bright Star Laser - Good Purchase?

Hello everyone. I just found a laser on craigslist. It's a 30W bright star laser. I actually know the guy selling it (our businesses have worked together in the past) and I trust the guy. It's in good shape and he's selling it for $300 with CW-3000 chiller, computer, and large blower. I think the model is an LG500tt, which has a 20"x12" work area. For $300, it seems like a steal. Any reason I shouldn't get it? I only plan on using it for cutting. I have a K40 that I've tricked out, but it's just a bit small for me.

He said he'd show it working. Like I said, I actually know the guy, he was one of our suppliers at my last job, I actually recognized his name from craigslist. He's just closing down the business and getting rid of stuff.

If you already have experience with a K40, then why not? The blower and CW-3000 would make it hard to pass on.

I'm picking it up this morning. You guys are right, even for the blower and CW-3000, that's worth the $300. I didn't realize at first how much nicer the machine really was, with linear rails, much larger cutting area, etc.
