    Black Palm wood

Used a strange wood to make this pen. It is a heavy brittle wood that can give a very tiny sharp splinter.

Cool pen, interesting wood. Brittle wood and sharp splinters don't make for a fun day.

Nice pen there. That palm is native to Northern Queensland and makes very nice dowels inlaid in other timbers.

I have turned some and use CA to firm up the grain sometimes several times for a pen. H> G

One pen was enough for me.
When working I had more money than time. In retirement I have more time than money. Love the time, miss the money.
