This is my latest turning. The bowl is about 6" Diameter. The top ring is 8" diameter and the total height is about 10". I used aromatic cedar because I have a bunch of it available. It turns well, but it is brittle so it cracks easily. The bowl is segmented so that the grain runs parallel to the inside groves. I used a dremel tool with a .080 cutter for the outside groves and a slitting saw for the inside groves. The bottom groves were cut with a parting tool.
