    Moldable silicone putty

    Hello gang,
For those of you not familiar with arts and crafts, there is a commercial silicone putty called Sugru that comes premixed in little packets. Fantastic stuff for making all kinds of custom silicone parts. Problem with Sugru is that it has a limited shelf like and is expensive. A brilliant person figured out how to make a homebrew version using 100% silicone caulk and cornstarch! This version is called Oogoo and there's so many uses for it in the home and shop. I've used it to make custom glue bottle tips and it holds a thread and glue does not stick to it.

Sugru is great and LOML is a big fan. I'll try the homebrew version.
