2 lathes on one vacuum pump???

I was wondering if setting up 2 separate lathes on one vacuum pump is possible? I was thinking of putting a shut off valve before each lathe to isolate one from the other when one or the other is in use. Or is there some type of one way check ball/valve that I can put in line and how many would it take and where do I put them?

Should work fine. There might be a "Y" type valve that would switch from A to B. I know they make them for water hoses.

I ran 3 lathes off my Gast vacuum pump. I had quick disconnect fittings on my manifold at each lathe and on the hose from the pump. This set-up worked well for me.
