Back in the Shop - Cherry Vase

Since my house fire, I've had no power going out to the shop but yesterday, I was able to run cable and get the shop lit up again. Yay!!
So today I decided to get back to turning. It's been months.
Decided to keep things simple. This is an 8" Cherry Hollow Vase...nothing special, hollowed to an 1/8* wall...give or take. Laquered up with standard rattle can gloss.
I'm not terribly thrilled with the form...but it sure was great to be turning again.

    Thanks for peekin'

I bet it feels good to get a little turning done and it sure doesn't look like you've lost your touch.

Thanks all for the kind words. Feels like I can get back into things pretty quickly. About 1000 ideas swirlin' around in my head.
