    Construction/glue up my rolling pin.

Rolling pin design that I have developed. Tutorial of blank prep. DSCN0735.jpgDSCN0736.jpgDSCN0737.jpgDSCN0738.jpgDSCN0739.jpgDSCN0741.jpgDSCN0742.jpgDSCN0743.jpg 1)Select wood 4 pieces; 2) cut to desired size; 3-4) true gluing surfaces and edges, equal thickness; 5) glue up four pieces alternating light and dark; 6) split at center across the laminates, true the cut surfaces 7-8)and re-glue with ends switched.
Turn to desired shape. Changing the shape can also change the appearance . A simple glue up that can trick the eye, looking complex. Allan

How about the finished product!! By the way it looks to me like you are clamping to hard & starving your joints of glue!
