Hards Knots School

Been there done that, knew better, but did it anyway, learned this from the school of hard knots. I looked at the bowl I was using my 3 inch velcro sanding pad on with the hand held 3/8 drill the other day and it just wasn't sanding very good. No wonder, no sanding pad on it, and by this time the velcro holding nubs were gone. It was another one of those palm to the forehead and duhh times. Good thing I keep spares in the shop. I tell everyone I very seldom make mistakes unless someone is watching, but this one was so bad I thought I would share. Do you have any of these you can add?

Since you're fessing up Glenn....Just the other day, I was making some scroll saw cuts for my weaving loom....The cherry seemed to be incredibly hard and smoke was coming out of the wood after about 1/2" into the cut. You guessed it....blade on backwards. Doh!!!! It cut pretty good for not having any teeth!!
