    Lee Valley free shipping

Are the free shipping events for Lee Valley predictable? If so would anyone know when the next one might be?

Not that I have noticed. I just wait for the emails to announce when they do them. They seem to do maybe a half dozen a year.

While not "predicable", they seem to be often enough to make them very useful.

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...

Unless your trying to save money for something like retirement, in which case they are not terribly useful at all....quite the contrary...

All kidding aside, yes, fantastic company, love it when I can get free shipping.

Not saying anything negative about Lee Valley but if you want a really good watering hose reel, I would go here:

It does depend on your use. Under my use, the BORG $80 units are "done" in a year and the feed mechanism starts leaking in a matter of days. I bet the $100 Lee Valley is done in 3 or 4 at max. I've had an Eley for 17 that still works well and has survived So Cal sun and fairly heavy use. I did specify "if you want a really good watering hose reel". That is what the nurseries buy and find they are much cheaper in the long run.

I'm waiting for the next one to order a hose reel. I hope they have one in a few weeks for Fathers Day.

Think he meant garden hose reel...I don't believe they sell [air] hose reels for the shop.

    Maybe this?

Ah, gotcha. First thing I thought was an air hose on a reel, I was going to suggest this one: LINK
