    Internal boundary in Corel Draw

I have an image and I want to create an internal boundary to it. I've done the external boundary and contour to offset it a bit and I want to do the same fore the inside of the image but just don't know how. There is no internal boudary tool so wondered what the best method would be. Corel support replied and just said there is no tool, so they were no help in suggesting how to achieve what I need to.
Just to note that the internal part of the image is different to the outside so just setting the contour to a minus doesn't work.

It isn't this actual image but similar idea:

So it's easy enough to do a boundary and then offset contour around the edge but the internal is where I'm stumped.
