Thinking of doing something similar to the Oneida Multi Cyclone Dust Deputy set up. I would love a Dust Cobra and put in a 2 1/2" ducted set up running around my shop. It would be a supplement to my real dust collector set up. I would use it for my RAS, router table, overhead Shark Guard on my table saw and general clean up. Price puts it beyond my reach.
I already have two Dust Deputies and two Ridgid Vacs, the 6hp and 6.5hp ones, and a 4.5hp and a 2hp ShopVac, both fitted with Dust Deputies. I would keep the 2hp separate, as I use it on my hand sanders.
I am thinking that using multiple vacs (the two Ridgid ones) I could get better performance, approaching the Dust Cobra.
Anyone used the Oneida rig? Opinions on my thought process?
