I am making a Cherry mantle and have hit a road block. I am in the process of making the corbels which are solid cherry and they are 6" thick. I have them all glued up and ready to shape but my bandsaw blade is inadequate. What size blade would be best for the job at hand? What width, tooth shape etc will handle the thick stock while trying to minimize burning? I have a Rigid with a 14" table if that helps at all.
Any my advice would be be greatly appreciated!
