Should I buy a Steel Super Dust Deputy or a new Plastic one

I know someone that is selling a steel super dust deputy for about $100-$125. Is it worth buying or should I just buy a new plastic one to hook up to my 2 hp grizzly dust collector? I will also be adding 2 stacked cartridge filters in this diy upgrade.

Sounds like a good price to me. I paid about $200 for mine. It was before the price increase.

That is a really good price. I have one for my 3HP blower and it works great.

Steel would be great. If the plastic is cheaper and that is you goal I wouldn't hesitate. I have run plastic ducting for over a decade with zero sign of wear. the inside is nice and polished from the abrasive nature of the soil but, not to a "wear" degree that would cause me concern.
