Hello everyone. First time poster here; thanks for all the knowledge shared. Very helpful for a newbie like me. I have a 30 watt CO2 from Universal Laser Systems. I am getting into stainless engraving and have experimented with Cermark a little. The forum taught me to dilute Cermark--that's helpful! So, I have two questions:

1) Can I use methyl hydrate instead of denatured alcohol for thinning Cermark?

2) I have seen dilution ratios on this forum ranging from 5:1 to 10:1. Recommendations? Is the purpose of higher dilution rates simply to get a thinner and more even cover?

Thanks in advance
