I am cutting some bandsaw boxes and need a 1/4" blade.The one I have is 1/4X10tpi and burns the wood.What blade do I want for doing this?

How tall are the workpieces?
I think I'd be using a 1/4" 4 tpi skip tooth blade which would clear sawdust more efficiently than the blade you're using.

3/16", 4 tpi skip tooth gets my vote. See David Picciuto https://makesomething.tv/ for examples of what can be done with this blade.

Like Edwin said, depends on how thick the piece is. I regularly make curved cuts in 4 inches of walnut with a 1/4" 10 tpi blade. I've also used a 3/16" 4 skip tooth blade and it works, just leaves you with a lot more sanding from the rougher cut.
