Fantastic! A couple more kit projects and he will be ready for that popcorn bowl project. A memory forever.
When working I had more money than time. In retirement I have more time than money. Love the time, miss the money.
Awesome!!!
Imagine the thrill & pride he'll feel when his parents open their gifts. Outstanding indeed!

Wow - what a great photo! His folks are going to love their gifts! Thanks for sharing!

John,
That's so great. He needs to include your pictures in a frame as part of the gift!
Merry Christmas!

Bravo! That will make an excellent Christmas memory.
Great John my Grandkids are grew up and are now young adults. Ok clue me in, what did you two make, hard to tell from photo.
He has inherited your gusto and will always know how to be busy and happy.
George,
Perhaps some great-grandkids in the shop at some point, eh?
Yes, a closer photo of the things would have been good, I ran out of space on my composite image.

His favorite operations were drilling the holes, the smoke from the burned lines, and mixing the epoxy. The sanding and finishing, not so much.

I would have liked to see larger pictures, but it's fantastic to see one so young working with their hands. Someone mentioned the pride on Christmas day, but I'll bet the memory will last a lifetime or more.

He and you did good John! I am sure Mom and Dad will appreciate and remember them.
