Woodcraft slow speed grinder issues

Hi,

I ordered the Woodcraft slow speed grinder, I think there is a problem with it.
When I turn it on, it comes quickly up to speed but makes kinda of a pulsating
sound and louder then I would think it should be. When I turn it of, the pulsating sound goes away, all I hear are the wheels turning smoothly.

I know it is hard to describe the actual sound through words, but the fact that the sound is pulsating causes me concern.

I plan on calling Woodcraft and putting the phone to the grinder so they can hear it.

any thoughts ?

I'd call the store and ask them. They have a good return and replacement policy
